VE Day Ringing
Along with many other churches throughout the UK (and further afield), Market Weighton joined in with the collective ringing for VE Day.
Joining the rest of the band for the first time, we welcomed Kaye West, another of our intake of learners from our 2024 open day event.
As well as being mentioned in the Ringing World article on VE Day, we also managed to get the picture of the band and the beacon on the tower into the special commemorative issue. The band that rang on the evening. Siân E Austin
